Empower Your Chat Administrators

To manage live chat options, one or more individuals within your organization can be set up as chat administrators. They will receive notifications of incoming chat requests via web or iOS push. The live chat administrative area can also be monitored for incoming chat requests. If no one is available to answer the chat request, it will automatically switch over to take a message.

Safe and Secure Sessions

Chat sessions are encrypted on the server and can only be viewed by the parties that are part of the live chat. Detailed chat data is encrypted on the server during transmission and when stored. Transcripts can only be viewed by a chat administrator for a limited time before removed, though you can opt to have a chat transcript sent to you via e-mail. For logging purposes, metadata (consisting of the customer’s name and session’s start/stop times) remains available to a chat administrator after a session is closed and can be deleted at a later time. Missed chat requests or messages left will be visible to chat administrators and can be archived or logged once viewed.

Antilles Chat FAQs

Is my website compatible with Antilles Live Chat?

Almost all websites will work with Antilles Live Chat. Your site must have an SSL certificate (https) and you will need to add a small snippet of code to each page you want live chat to appear on. LRS® can assist with this, or the code snippet can be provided to your existing web developer.

Can multiple chat representatives join a chat?

Yes. All incoming chat requests will show up and can be joined by one or more chat representatives. A chat representative will be able to see if another rep has already joined.

Can I update the message displayed when a user joins chat?

Yes. In the settings section, a chat admin will have the ability to customize the welcome message, as well as other messages, such as after-hours and disclaimer messages.

Are we able to turn off chat after business hours or on weekends / holidays?

Yes. Antilles Live Chat provides a scheduling page where you can set hours for each day of the week. Outside of these hours, the user will be given the option to leave a message. There is also a setting to turn off live chat completely which supersedes the schedule.

Do you offer a mobile app to respond to incoming chat requests?

We are planning to release an iOS application soon that will provide mobile chat reps the ability to respond from their device. Mobile access can be disabled by a chat admin.

How will I be alerted when a customer is requesting to chat?

Antilles Live Chat provides multiple notification options including a browser based visual notification on Windows or Mac, an audible chime, and a push notification on iOS of incoming chat requests.

What happens if we are not able to respond to an incoming chat request in time?

A chat admin can set a timeout value so that if no chat rep responds the customer can leave a message.

Is there a way to review chat history from a quality control perspective once a chat has ended?

Antilles Live Chat provides encrypted transcripts to chat admins to review closed chat sessions. * This features is not available on all plans.

Are Antilles Live Chat messages secure?

Antilles Live Chat messages are encrypted during transit using SSL and encrypted once stored in the database. Data retention integration utilizes a scheduled process to remove stored chat data from the system.

Can I provide canned responses for my chat representatives to use?

Yes. Based on your Antilles Live Chat plan, customizable canned responses can be saved by a chat admin and will be available to all chat reps.

Can a customer continue chatting if they browse to a different page on my website?

Yes. By adding the Antilles Live Chat plugin to each page of your website, a chat will persist even if the user browses to another page.

Do you provide any AI bots to chat with customers?

We do not currently offer AI integration with LiveChat, but check back as we are always working on new functionality.
